From Paper to Reality
One of the most exciting stages of the garden design process is seeing a design, that has so far existed only in my head and on paper, turning into reality.
The latest garden to reach this stage is a barn conversion in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Within the courtyard area we are creating some gorgeous sinuous curves – Tom and Mark at T.S.Landscapes have done an absolutely fantastic job creating the curved paved areas. I’ve only shown one angle above, but these curves change character depending on where you view them from and it’s hard to choose a favourite.
The photos show the blank canvas before work started, and then various stages of construction up to the paving being completed last week. It won’t be long now before the lawn and plants go in and then it will really look stunning – all in time for a big wedding party. Expect lots of photos of this garden to appear in my Slideshow!
